Is there anything better than homemade Strawberry Shortcake on a hot summer day?
Strawberry Shortcake
Ingredients
- 1 lb Fresh Strawberries
- 1/4 cup Sugar
Shortcakes
- 2 1/3 cup Bisquick
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Melted Butter
- 1/2 cup Milk
Notes
- Wash and slice up your strawberries and place them in a large bowl
- Add your sugar, stir to combine. Let this sit in the fridge for at least a couple of hours or until they get nice and juicy
- Add the Bisquick, sugar, melted butter and milk into a bowl and stir until combined
- Drop 6 large spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet
- Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
