Is there anything better than homemade Strawberry Shortcake on a hot summer day?

Strawberry Shortcake

  • 1 lb Fresh Strawberries
  • 1/4 cup Sugar


  • 2 1/3 cup Bisquick
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Melted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk


  • Wash and slice up your strawberries and place them in a large bowl
  • Add your sugar, stir to combine.  Let this sit in the fridge for at least a couple of hours or until they get nice and juicy
Preheat your oven to 425
  • Add the Bisquick, sugar, melted butter and milk into a bowl and stir until combined
  • Drop 6 large spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet
  • Bake at 425 for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
To serve, slice your biscuits in half, or I like to crumble it up into a bowl.  Cover with your juicy strawberries and top with a big dollop of whipped cream!
