S’mores X2

I’m pretty sure it’s impossible to have a bad day when you’re making or eating S’mores – which is why I’ve got two ways to make them. No fire pit needed!

S’mores X2

Course: Dessert, Sweets
Author: The Mill Town Kitchen

Ingredients

Classic S’mores

  • Graham Crackers
  • Jumbo Marshmallows
  • Chocolate Bars (frozen)

S’more Bars

  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 6 cups Golden Grahams Cereal
  • 1 bag Mini Marshmallows
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Notes

Classic S’mores
The trick to these is starting with frozen chocolate bars.  Freezing them first will prevent the chocolate from getting too melted in the oven.
Preheat your oven to your high broiler setting
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  Break your graham crackers in half and place as many as you’d like to make on your pan
  • Place a piece of your frozen chocolate bar on top of each graham cracker
  • Top the frozen chocolate with one jumbo marshmallow

Place in the broiler, watching them constantly.  It won’t take long before you notice the tops of your marshmallows getting nice and toasty.  You may need to rotate your pan to get an even toast on all of them.  Once they are perfectly toasted, remove them from the oven and top them with the other half of graham cracker.
Keep some napkins or paper towels nearby because these are perfectly gooey, just like a S’more should be!

S’more Bars
  • Melt your butter in a large and deep pot
  • Add about 3/4 of your mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted
  • Add your Golden Graham cereal to the marshmallows and stir until fully combined
  • Remove the pot from the heat and add the remaining marshmallows and your chocolate chips, stir until fully combined
  • Pour the mixture into a greased pan and press it down firmly.  Cool completely to set
Once cooled, slice them into squares and devour.
